Smith Co. and Cannon Co. should move up

Smith Co and Cannon Co. should move up  to 4A in football next year if not they be in with Nashville school like pearl Cohn, East Nashville, Mapewood, Strafford , WilI have no chance competing against those guys.

That would be wonderful! But unfortunately they been dodging for years, so much so their mascot name has been changed from the owls to the Smith County chickens

They play Macon, Gordy, Livingston, Dekalb, and Stone Memorial, they lost all 5 games I’m going out on a limb but in a normal year the gates at TC vs SC and SC vs H2O would be better than Stone and Livingston

No kidding they’re dodging us (H20) now also. Word is Murray won’t schedule anyone outside the region next 2 years with a winning record so he can try to have a winning record to salvage his job

You can’t just drop down. You have to have less students however you can elect to play up

I wouldnt even try to move up until i have won at least a few golden balls in my current class

Peabody never chose to play up a class. They have always just barely been over 2a numbers for last 30 years. There have been maybe 6 years in the last 35 years we were in 1a

Word on the street is they are about to start dodging all those teams except Gordy. Yes they would make so much money by playing both of us, but he doesn't want money he wants to be competitive lol. If you ask him he is best coach in the state and not scared of anyone haha!
