It's a lot tougher on that generation than these kids.

Make no mistake, I'm not advocating anyone play with the virus.  Definitely should quarantine for positive results.    My issue is the "contact tracing" quarantine.

As I stated on another thread, if you can produce 2 negative tests in a 72 hour period (3 days) you should be permitted to re-join the team in my opinion.   Just because someone was within your "social distance" space, does not automatically mean you have the virus and we are treating it that way!

With rapid testing now available, results can be known in an hour.   This is insane!

I hope your mom gets well soon, Pujo.   I'm not trying to minimize what this virus is doing to their generation in particular.   I'm just saying we are allowing the Health Department to take too much liberty with the authority someone gave them.

Yes and the big kicker in this, there is a huge number of false positives out there(there is also false negatives) so how are we suppose to believe anything we are being told! And also when you look at case numbers and deaths,  why is there a stat line for positive cases, confirmed positives, probable positives. No one has a dang clue what’s going on, and the media and “scientists” are doing nothing but imposing fear through our lives. The vaccine may help some but I am not taking it, I’m a believer and if that’s the way I’m suppose to go so be it, that’s all now back to football!

I don’t disagree with most of your post. Just a question though. Did you get vaccinated for small pox or anything else? Maybe take the flu, pneumonia or shingles vaccination? Just curious why this particular vaccine would be different than others available?

Pretty sure at least half the people want nothing to do with it, they tell you we all need it and then they also tell people not to trust it, that's the very reason why it will more than likely be mandatory.  People are too confused to know what to do. I don't think that's an accident. Someone needs to get the story straight like yesterday.

As a matter of fact, I've not had the 1st person tell me they wanted it, I've had bunches tell they wanted no part of it. I'm with that group. I may be really ignorant but I guess that's my right for the time being.

Polio vaccine had a bunch of controversial information surrounding it way back there. A lot of the same concerns then as now about this one it seems. Turns out it was a good move. Just saying may not be the best idea to dismiss it at first blush is all. While I agree we’re all gonna die someday but if I fall down in waist deep water I’m not just gonna say we’ll this is it for ole crow, I believe I’d stand up.

Nothing but theory on my part but it only makes sense, won't do no good for half the people to get it, would have to be a world wide thing to work.

Well if it is effective then the half that get it would be immune. The thing about this type of virus is it’s like the flu in that it mutates easily so like the flu vaccine wouldn’t be a one time vaccination. It would likely be an annual vaccination like the flu for example. The vaccination is real, I’m completely convinced of that. The 2 concerns I have are the rush coming from the political agenda behind it from one side and the government over reach about administering it from the other. Vaccinations save lives, period. There is no credible evidence to the contrary. I’m cautious about how we the people allow OUR elected employees to handle the rest.

I'm concerned period, never was one that liked to be told what I have to do, like making my own choice.

I agree there. I like looking at facts and making up my own mind. It’s why I’ve stopped watching news for the most part. Just somebody’s opinion they’re trying to cram down my throat. I just want truthful information, I’ll do the thinking for myself. Getting hard to find that nowadays.
