Bad news for SP especially with Victory stepping down this year. Thought you all would have it wrapped up for the next few until I saw this.

SP has a senior heavy team this season. I believe the clear cut favorite in 2021 and 2022 is without a doubt Peabody. I mean this team is winning to regularly in 2A so they should dominate 1A. They should be favored by 21 points each year in the title game. As for the East in 2021 and 2022? It looks like Gordonsville has a young team. They could be on the other end of that beating those years in Cookeville. LMBO

I was out of touch for almost a year. I’m just going by what I saw at the last game. They started a lot of seniors from my count listening to the starting lineups. Every lineman on offense, the QB, the RB, WR. I heard Mount kid names called as the only one on offense. On defense I noticed a couple younger ones playing but only about 2 starters I believe. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I counted 1 on offense last game and 3 on defense. The rest appeared to be seniors.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
