When I played in the 90s, this was THE game. They were in our region back then, and we would duke it out for the top spot. Wayne County is really down this year so if all players are available and the CoVid will stay at bay, I believe the Raiders win easily. Good luck MC!

Should be moore county by a lot, but this WC team has gotten better every week besides tonight against collinwood and short handed fought till the end. I plan on making the trip, any good places to eat over that way?

dont know squat about Moore co except they got a lot of tradition...saw wc tonight...they try to grind it out on offense but dont have much big play potential...they like to try and get the edge on running plays and had some success.  their secondary gave up lots of big pass plays...collinwood qb has a big arm though who can throw the long  ball with accuracy....wc does play hard and their coach has a lot of experience but the rice boys are long gone

I was involved in several of those games and you are right. WC was the rival for us. It was never Huntland. Lost to them once in 4 years and it was as if the season was over. Many enjoyable times in WC though.

Couldnt have said it better. WC was the game I most looked forward to each year. We knew it was going to be a dog fight.

Good luck with WC. They love to illegal chop block and hold like crazy. They are coached dirty and will go after your lineman’s knees all night. If you win pray your team doesn’t have knees blown out for the 2nd round!!

WC doesn’t have the secondary to stop MC passing attack. MC by a couple of scores.
