I find it interesting that when you know you are about to get mercy ruled that you go out of your way to play dirty. But the two linemen (you know who you are) has all off season to think about that whooping they received tonight. One of them is going D1 but you wouldn’t have known it tonight.

Does anyone find it odd that GreenEville also in the State Championship played Springfield and then Haywood? GreenE and Betsy have a lot in common these days.

Now Betsy must keep the commonality going and beat Haywood and be the class 4a back to back defending state champs riding into the 2021 season match up with the GreenE Devils.  After that game you’ll be able to experience what it’s like coming back down to earth :roflolk: :thumb:.  I had to have a little fun

Congratulations again and I hope you win it next week. Maybe even Mavsinflight will root for ya?

5th year of Varsity Football in the school's history.  5 playoff appearances.  At least 1 win in the playoffs each year (including when their were no seniors in the building).  Now, back to back semi-final appearances, win or lose, you have to be very proud of the Knights.  It will take a near perfect game to win, but this is high school football so you truly never know.

As it turns out,  travel was NOT a factor.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
