What's that got to do with 5G ?

Nut'n. Just at side track rabbit trail.....based off a narrative from the New Alcoa Documentary.  A narrative that brings up issues and actions that happened 50+ years ago. Not, just the Documentary, but the environment we live in today. An Environment that bore a handfully of people protesting the rebel name. An environment that has placed a spotlight on anything that can be perceived as racist. In this environment political figures, actors, sports stars and groups can be shunned for comments and actions,  even for actions  years in the past.  So, the question is, will this Student tradition continue with the high hyper sensitive perception environment we have now?

We live in a generation where each coming down the line has made it easier for the next until we have one that would be almost helpless in an environmental catastrophe. Didn't watch the thing so really don't know what it was about or really care. Just curious if the Alcoa Documentary mentioned one of their former head coaches in the mid to late 40's by the name of John "Nig" Wilbur. That's how his name was in several school yearbooks, newspapers and press releases. I always wondered about that, maybe he was from Nigeria.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
