Doesn't look like it no, although Turner had a few of those type seasons they were few and far in-between. Tyner may not have had many apply and this guy was looking at the time. You just never know. But to answer your question I'll just post Turners win loss.

I would personally think that the lower win seasons were just drops in talent.

2 double digit win seasons over the last 15 years, better talent than most of their opponents. 5 losing seasons in past decade. I will add there is more to being a success than wins or losses.

Yes, but the talent compared to most in 2A was way above average. Does that mean he was bad, of course not before anyone starts whining. Just means the new coach may can equal the output at the least.

Takes talent and grades to be on the field. Sometimes you don't have both in the same kid. That said if someone equals the output and you keep them then why would you get rid of the first coach to begin with? :thumb:

I will have to agree with Indian. I think Coach Turner was a good man but I do think Tyner underachieved with what talent they could put on the field every year. I worried with the right hire that the Rams could be a regular contender for titles every year. Is this the hire to do it? Not sure but I guess we will find out.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
