East Robertson has 1 pitcher who can throw 95+ and 4 who throw 80+. Really deep staff with some good bats.

Make that 5, another one of their kids topped out at 81 tonight. 5 kids throwing 80+ and 1 throwing 95+. Absolutely baseball factory up in Robertson county

It's all just talk. Go back to '16 and check the threads and you'll find that most people were ready to crown Loretto champs the day of the draw. All the "favorites" except them (they were #1 most of the season) were in the opposite bracket, but one of the cupcakes happened to upset the apple cart by beating the #1 team twice, then the defending champs to win it all .

Moral of the story...everyone there has earned the right to be there by winning the games that would have sent them home...being crowned champs takes the same effort that they've all shown already.

How 2019 when my Cherokees stunned Trinity to win Gold?!

They are very very good, fortunately they are going to cannibalize each other!

I didn’t get the chance to make it in time for Summertown’s game unfortunately but was able to make it for the ER game. They were really solid, especially their pitching. I would’ve like to see the starter for Lake County be able to go farther in that game to see if they could’ve kept it closer. I’m not sure what happened to him (looked like some discomfort somewhere while pitching).

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
