Nice to see this one renewed!I dont expect much interest but these two traditionally good teams deserve a thread. After this game we should have a little better handle on where we are right now.

Boyd will be the heavy favorite for sure.We have 27 players that dressed for the last scrimmage and one of our best on the sidelines for at least one more week.We have 3 Srs 2 linemen and a QB/RB,3 Jrs also I believe.16 Sophs that have a ton of talent but young. The 3 Srs are very good players and should show great leadership to these young players this year and maybe by midseason will hit our stride if we stay healthy. After rewatching the Meigs scrimmage one this is certain our kids will hit you,we have a ways to go on offense but that's what practice and out of region games are for!Boyd kicks off a gauntlet of a tough schedule,if we stay healthy these game should help us tremendously.Dont know what Boyd brings to the table this year but had success last year.

It is good to see these teams play again. We should be improved from last year. Covid really hurt the team. I don't think we played consecutive games until like week 8 to 9. We will be breaking in a new QB, but a lot of options to throw to at WR. Have a 6'7 TE/WR heading to Virginia next year. I think we have a ton of potential, but we have a tough schedule.

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
