so yeah, when you pit Randolph/Stephenson against each other and factor in their respective accomplishments at this point in their careers, nobody in their right mind is going to refer to that as a “draw” lol.

That statement has led me to question the rest of your post in regards to what position groups have the “edge”. If you misjudged the obvious coaching advantage, then I’m sure your other observations are incorrect (respectfully of course).

Coaching means the entire staff. I expect to see two quality defenses take the field and two offenses who have struggled to put points on the board against quality opponents recently. I don't see either staff coming in with new game plans or making adjustments that will determine the winner. They're both going to do what they do.  Are you on the staff? You took that a little too personal. This is an anonymous high school football forum with a bunch of has beens stirring the pot, take everything with a grain of salt.

You took that in a way it wasn't intended and completely mischaracterized it on your quote. But I'll go back and delete the last sentence in case anyone else takes it the same way. We have a decent thread going and no need for foolishness on either side ruining it.

Yeah wasn't really meaning this series, I mean against ALL opponents.  I know this is one of the opponents but they are expected to do better against Cornersville, you know since Cornersville hasn't won against Forrest since before Moby Dick was a minnow.

Some background for the folks following the thread that aren't from here. The best RB at our school in the last 10-15 years not named McClendon was told to move to guard in 9th grade and he moved to Cornersville instead. The other would be senior running back is a starter and plays both ways for 6A Summit. Best player from the junior class is in a wheelchair from last season's on the field injury. Just three reasons why the series was renewed for 2021.

No excuses. We play with who we put on the field Friday. Any 1A or 2A program who lost 3 very good 2 way players like that will see a drop off. Eagleville had their 3 best players out against us. That's not an excuse it's just facts. Who knows what players a Covid test could take out of the game.

yep, They were  playing with one hand behind their back and only had 80 total yards and 2 first downs. But scoring points has been a struggle for us  and the game was still in doubt at the end of the third quarter.

Offensive coaching has been abysmal since Nov 2019.   I've been discussing this.   It's well documented.
