Springfield @ Rossview

I believe the Jackets continue to put it together even more this game...

Having a bunch of dudes back was great to see...glad to see the passing game open back up. Rossview has already played 3 common opponents...L 17-3 Wilson C, L 10-9 Clarksville, W 27-22 NE. Rossview avg scoring is 13-18 on off and def.  Springfield scoring avg is 31-8 on both sides. I expect the Jackets defense to hold them to a score. Offense needs to keep on rolling... cleanup some penalties and not get behind the sticks.

The last time we played Clarksville Rossview they beat us 66-0.  They intentionally ran up the score. I think it’s time for some pay back.  The coaches that ran it up are gone and our coaches have way to much class to run it up BUT some of us haven’t and won’t forget.  Every year I hope that Clarksville Rossview loses EVERY game

Yea that was Dustin’s 2nd yr. That was a rough yr. We need to go out blazzing again before we go to Henry Co imo

Went to a middle school game tonight saw the boys warming up without a coach on the field. The field was painted by kids had lines everywhere. It was sad. To have a group of athletes like that and no discipline whatsoever. It could only help the high school program out if you had a good feeder program. I was embarrassed.

Had to be Springfield. I’m curious to see what happens to Boyce Smith field, since there will be no “true” middle school in Springfield in a couple years. The magnet school is a great concept, but using SMS to house it is a terrible idea. School leaders really dropped the ball on that.
