Beech travels to Summit

Yeah we had a pretty good feel for how this one would go after playing both teams. Summit is just too much for most teams this year.

Beech played solid for the first 20 minutes, 7-7. The turning point was taking a sack on the Summit 19 and putting themselves out of FG range, having to go for it on 4th down. Didn’t convert and summit scored two TDs with under 2 minutes to go. Beech never recovered.

I know they ended up giving up 39 points, but I thought Beech's defense played pretty well. We are just struggling to find any consistency on offense.  The Wade twins and their supporting cast are legit. I look forward to cheering for them at UK.

Defense played phenomenal for the first 20 minutes.

MJGB just likes to troll. What I saw in the 39-7 loss is that if they eliminate the mistakes, they can play with or beat this team. I know, that’s part of the game, but honestly going into to this game I wasn’t sure that Beech could play with Summit even if they played the perfect game. So, call it glass half full, but the score of this game could have easily been 10-7 Beech at half. In the end it wasn’t so and yes, it was a 32 point loss. I believe Summit will have their hands full with Ravenwood, not not much else until playoff time. They’re definitely a solid team and the Wade twins are special, but I saw Friday that Beech can compete.

Beech Defense was ok Offense doesn’t have clue if they can’t run the ball against teams .Not real creative when it comes to Offense
