I have watched the footage on this contest for many weeks dating back to the 7v7 passing tournament that Coach Lowe held at his place this summer. I am expecting the Powell Panthers to take advantage

It took Scott quite some time to turn West into a winner, but he ultimately did it. I would argue that he was sitting on a diamond mind which certainly helped. West has always had talent, but they underachieved for a number of years prior to his arrival, and even early in his tenure.

Lamar Brown is no slouch though. Morristown West has been absolute trash since he left; prior to this season, Mo West won a total of 9 games after his departure. Brown has also been able to do what Jeff Harig couldn't after Scott's departure.

You obviously have much stronger feelings about this than me.  It's no big deal.  I just think recent numbers may disagree with you.

And Harig has sure shown he can coach a bit too.  My only point was that they're both very good coaches.  DIdn't mean to rile FilmCzar so much.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
