Same old show is EHS winning the last 2 titles. This year its Greenevilles to lose. I think of we make it we can give Greeneville a better game than the first one but either way the true title game will be round 3 if Greeneville and EHS both make it.

Mav??? They have  to score AT LEAST 31 points. The Devil’ D has given up only 79 points in 10 games with the first team giving up about 40 points. Sears Christmas Toy Catalog comes out next week.

I’d go out on a limb here (lol) and say Greeneville would beat an AC and SD all star team.

In my opinion it would be between Haywood, Tullahoma, or PC.  This Greeneville team in my opinion is better than the Betsy team that won State last year just with how diverse and fast they are and no real weakness.  How much has the West improved from last years 4TD loss in the championship game is the bigger question fans from the East want to know?  I believe Greeneville would be at least a 2-3 TD Favorite against any team from the West and was the 2nd best team last year in 4a losing to Betsy at Betsy by a FG. 

 

Both of these programs have pushed each other over the last 10 years to become and maintain the level of success they have had, it doesn't hurt that they have been Rivals since 1924 and in the same conference the past 5 years

Sorta like how you have been counting the days since AC beat Greeneville, let's see it's a little over 5,930 days now.

Please tell me where i said Greeneville is the champs and not that i think they would be the favorite by 14-21 points?  It's not a rocket science to look back at the last 4 championships and see that how much stronger the East has been than the West (The East has on avg beat the west in the championship game by 31 pt's and none have been less than 3 TD Games).

I've seen AC play this year and not impressed, Greeneville would run past you like Poop through a Goose!

Mav, when we ROOSTERS count, we’re adding to the count. We may be sterile on occasion (hens fault), but we still have 7 state championships between the Orange and Greene including  the last FOUR.

When you, the HEN counts, it’s 0 plus 0 = 0 ZERO.

the difference in programs. You want others to beat us. While Betsy and the Devils WANT to play each other in the third round Mano to Mano. Front doors only in our region. Don’t be surprised when Betsy kicks your front door down.

I like what Coach Duncan said and this is not a direct Quote but the jest ...You don't have to be the best team to win Friday night you just have to be the best team on that one Friday night only summary not trying to quote but the meaning is South Doyle will not give up and lay down like some teams have done.

Go Cherokees! Show them what SD has Coach Duncan!

His Quote was " On Friday at 7pm we are going to show up and play- and were excited. We don't have to be the best team, just the best team in Friday Night. We will have to play the best we've played, without a doubt".  Which i would expect any coach to say.  You also left out the Quote were Coach Duncan said "In my 41 years of coaching they (Greeneville) are as good and complete football team as I've seen on any level". "They have it all.  If they have a weakness I can't find one"

 

Coach Duncan coached Greeneville's head coach at Powell and gave Spradlen his first assistant coaching gig at SD  from 04-06 and then he became the DB's coach at Greeneville my Senior Year in 07.  Both talk to each other regularly

I say that because i've seen both teams play in person and just being real with you.  The same way I was real when Betsy had our number the previous 2 years

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
