Where else would they go? They lost one to Maplewood last year. Could go there.

Doesn’t matter what the girls are saying now. If they get the right coach in, those girls will stay I’m sure.

 

I am sure the process is ramping up. Will be interesting to see where they go with the hire.

Heard from multiple people at GP they are in fact going after Patton at Nashville Christian. Hearing he could be announced as the new guy in the next couple days. Great hire for the Cougars if true.

Can’t believe everything you hear. 

The search started with a big name and has progressed to 5 or more coaches including assistants and middle school coaches turning them down. Just isn’t a good job right now. Don’t see it turning around anytime soon.

Like you said, don’t believe everything you hear. No assistant or middle school coach has turned them down because none were offered.  People will believe anything they “hear” and put it on here as truth. Nature of the internet, I guess. This has become the Wikipedia of message boards.
