What about the taunting from the East Nashville kid? Video I saw was not long enough to determine who started it all.

Reitz it started in warm ups. East warmed up on the end by the Milan student section. They were giving East the business. Memphis East players started responding. None of the students from Milan did anything that you wouldn’t find in a normal student section except the one kid. He did throw something and it was a horrible decision. He should be punished and will. But it is not a characterization of the entire student section as the other poster would have you believe.

True that the Milan student should not have thrown anything and should be punished. East Nashville kids should of had enough discipline to not respond. You would think a coach would have noticed and had security intervene. As far as the student section goes , where were the Milan school officials that should have been monitoring that type of behavior. Adult intervention could have prevented this. JMO

As soon as the kid threw the item he was escorted out by administration. Until then there was no behavior by any of the students in that area that does not occur normally in a ball game. Student sections in high school and college give layers a hard time thru chants, signs, hand motions (like when shooting free throws). All of this did happen and was not out of the norm. The student made a bad choice and it was dealt with. Simple as that.  Anyone that says otherwise is not being truthful.

Why do you say bunch when it was clearly 1 student?  Yes the student was wrong. But why do you feel the need to say it was a “bunch of thugs” when it was 1 kid??

1 thug that better!!!! Principals son from what I understand. Also people that I’ve seen post about it say the kid was not removed. If you said he was then I will believe it. Just stating what I heard. Question is what if it was a East kid throwing stuff at Milan players ? I’m sure it would be a different reaction on this board.

What reaction are you looking for on this board?  I have made it clear that the kid was wrong to do that. Reitz posted and said the kid was wrong. You seem to indicate the kid was wrong. Looks like we all agree that it was not ok. What reaction do you expect??

Look at me, I'm the victim...sad that it circles back to this. Why can't you just be who you are, let me be who I am, and we'll just judge each other on our own words and actions.
