I’m aware of the program I’m just giving this guy back some of what he’s saying about Clay County who is one of if not the best small town basketball in this state.

Back in 84’ 85’ & 86’ there was no 3 point line and Clay had arguably the 2nd best team in the state. The problem was they drew Bolton first every year who had Sylvester Gray. So this skews the record somewhat. Over the past 10 years Clay has had a lot more success than Middleton but we all know how good those kids are over there and they have a great coach so I’m not disrespecting any other of those. Just this knucklehead

None of your current players were alive the last time Middleton won a championship so I’m pretty spot on. Clays record over the last 10 years way better.

I only said Clay look slow, that’s my opinion and everyone entitled to their own opinion right. You said yourself they slow/unathletic

Both teams and programs are very good. Of course, the last few years for Clay speaks for itself. I would say that if Middleton didn't have to go through Memphis they would have been to the state tournament a few more times and maybe even a few more championships. Good Luck to both teams the rest of the postseason, Both teams should make it to Murfreesboro and once you get to the glass house anything can happen.

Good point…Prime example last year substate we (Middleton) was the #1 ranked team in Single A and had to play the #2 ranked team (MAHS)
