Brentwood was down 2-0 sets and 23-24 in the third set but managed to rally back.  Only in 11-AAA can you have a semi-final district tournament that's a rematch of last years state championship game (Ravenwood/Nolensville)

Anybody got any other results? You would think that TSSAA would have their website updated to reflect championship week. Heck, even this website doesn't district scores listed for 3/4 of the teams. You'd think that would be a given.

Not sure there is anyone who would have picked Ravenwood to win the District…much less ending it with two sweeps.  Raptors Catching fire at the right time!

Sounds like a very exciting district tournament. You guys play great volleyball over there.

I would think Cleveland is licking their chops with Nolensville gone!

I’m sure of it. Nolensville is a tough matchup for Cleveland, they absolutely dominated us this year. Still alot of great competition out there, but our chances got a lot better.

Region Tournaments tonight and tomorrow night...Sectionals Thursday....we'll have our final 8 headed to Murfreesboro by the end of the week....be sure to post your fave teams scores. Good luck everyone!

The AAA State Championship still runs thru Williamson County.  Cleveland is a solid team but they would have been lucky to make it out of WilCo districts, just like Brentwood last year and Nolensville this year.  2009 was the last year a WilCo team did not win the AAA Championship and 2005 since a WilCo team was not in the AAA finals.

 

The Bruins are healthy for the first time all year....GO BRUINS (109-18 record at State in Murfreesboro with 16 Championships)

Brentwood wins the region over Ravenwood in 4 sets.  Brentwood hosts Station Camp and Ravenwood travels to Hillsboro.  I fully expect both Woods to advance to Murfreesboro.
