I agree I think there are more contenders for that Gold ball than there has been in a while.

I'm anxious to see what NCS brings to the table as I think they have a brutal non conference schedule, big win for Coach Brothers and his team beating a struggling BGA team. Opened up with FRA and Goodpasture loss by a combine of 7 points with chances to win at the end of each of those games. I hear Friendship is looking physical and playing some great football as well. Who else in the East?

FCS clear leader in the East after win over GCA and Lakeway loss

Middle is still fuzzy - NC / DCA (opened it up on Whitehouse) / GCA??

West is looking like always, some school with Jackson in it's name

WHH lost a lot from last year. Tonight vs Silverdale will be a big challenge. They are very good with many returning starters off last years team that gave DCA it’s only loss. The young DCA team is getting better each week but the game tonight is going to be a very physical game with a well coached team.

Can somebody just tell me who's gonna win the Middle? I'm so confused - I thought NC was a for sure, not I'm just not sold.

I think NC scheduling 3 (AA)opponents may help them later on, Grace will answer the question against NC Friday night , DCA young and battling numbers . The middle 1 and 4 have easier route to State. Upper bracket going be a battle! I know you want to beat FC but 2 East looks to be easier route to Chattanooga. CA and Columbia battle for last spot in playoffs.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
