I thought before the season that Halls might push Central out of 2nd place in the region. After week 2 and seeing last nights games, don't feel that way anymore. Still, other than West, region may suffer some early playoff round loses.

really? Who from region 1 will beat them? I mean I guess Boone will beat halls but that’s probably it

Honestly Halls gave West everything they wanted and then some last year with West barely winning..Did Halls lose that many players? 

Looking for West to come out firing on all cylinders, unless they're looking ahead to Fulton!

West wins big but as you can see in wake of what cummings left at Halls the cupboard is bare.

The cupboard is always bare at Halls.  but look what he did at Halls.  Playoffs 4yrs in a row has never been done there.

True, not since Shepard. I think they made the playoffs 6 or 7 consecutive years under him. I only remember because I was at Powell during that stretch.

I do agree that the cupboard is relatively bare these days, but people do forget that JD Overton had some success there. There was a 4-5 year stretch in the early 2010s where Halls won a grand total of 2 games. By the end of Overton's tenure, they had made the playoffs 3 straight years, winning 6 games or more each of those seasons. Cummings is a great coach, but it wasn't like he inherited a 1-win team.

yep, all true.  I think the other poster was just taking a cheap shot at cummings by saying that he "left the cupboard bare"  like he did it on purpose or something.  It's not like he took a bunch of players with him.  smh.

OK MH, I may have over stepped by saying early playoff round loses. But you have to agree, this is the weakest this region (exception West) has been in years.
