Dobyns Bennett is off to a 2-0 start due to some strong play. 6/5 LMU signee Seth Jervis is averaging 23 a game hitting on 9 of 12 three pointers so far. Henry Williams is averaging close to 18, and Azmar Blye is dropping in 12 a a game. Science Hill and DB will be trhowdown.....

Have not heard anything official on Seth. Where did you get your info? LMU handed #10 in the nation Carson Newman a 83-52 thumping at Tex Turner arena last night. Great win for the Railsplitters over a very good Carson Newman team.

DB has a very experienced,talented team this year. Blye,Williams,Jervis,and Wooten will lead that team. I won't be able to see them until the Arby's but I want to see them play. If DB plays the way they are capable of playing, they will crush Maryville at the Arbys's and will be a big threat to everyone.

I'm not sure what kind of team maryville has this year really. I do know though that the Lee kid going to florida is the real deal though. I'd like to see who gets to chase him around all game and try to slow him down. I don't know if DB has a good enough defender.

D-b is 2-2 in the last 4 visits to Church Hill. Friday night is their first game on the road. They will get a good test from the improved Falcons who are currently 6-3. D-B should win, but will have to handle the hard playing Falcons.

fastereddie I'm not sure if any of DB's defenders can absolutely shut Lee down...I'm sure they won't. But DB is extremely good defensively. They play pressure D and are all in your face, they cause a ton of turnovers for opponents. DB has so much talent this year it will be tough for opponents. I know Maryville is good and the Humphrey kid is awesome...but DB is loaded. I'm sure Azmar Blye will probably guard Lee Humphrey and Blye is a very good defender. I'm telling you, Maryville has no idea what they're about to face. I have a feeling Maryville won't be able to keep up with the Indians.

Dobyns Bennett will be a very good basketball team this year. Their coaches do a great job pushing the ball and also on deffense. I cannot wait tell the showdown between DB and SH.
