Humboldt travels to Lake County 9/16

The Falcons are coming off a bye week and welcome the Vikings to Bill Wray Field @ Jerry Reese Stadium.  Will Lake County bounce back from the battle at Trenton or will Humboldt upset the Falcons? Let’s hear it…

Humboldt offense is not clicking & getting to many penalties can’t see them winning at Lake County unless they play a perfect game!

Humbolt is very young with only six (6) seniors but the next couple of years they should be able to compete with the best in west Tn if they stay together! I don’t see them being able to beat Lake County, Defense plays pretty good but offense is not, to many mistakes & to much passing for my liking!

I'm excited for what Teddy has coming up in the next couple of years. Just not this year. Local small ball is better when The Bolt is in the mix.

Not sure what the Vikings have coming up from the middle school. To my understanding their middle school team has not won a game this season but I could be wrong. You are right the region is much better when Humboldt is good. As for this game LC should roll but you never know with this years LC team. Hopefully the Falcons have fixed some things. The Peabody game was encouraging.

I was talking about the group of 9th & 10th graders they have starting on varsity this year who were very successful in Middle school and getting a lot of playing experience. A very young Viking team with only six (6) seniors so only time will tell! The Viking defense is not that bad but because the offense is not clicking the defense stays on the field to long! They have Stephon Shivers only playing defense which gives him some rest but against good teams he needs to be on offensive line! LC will win unless they just have a turnover fest!
