Waverly at White House

MyTV30 Game of the Week comes to White House. Hoping the boys can rebound from their performance at Portland. They’ll have their hands full with the Tigers Friday night. Would love to hear from the Waverly folk on what they expect to see! BDP!

Why is this a MY tv 30 game

MYTV30 picked their games before the season started. Maybe they assumed it’ll be for a possible Region title, 2 2021 playoff teams, two good programs, etc. Anyone have anything productive to add? Lol. East Rob lover and a troll so far. I do think this game will be close as well.

I love Springfield as well if that helps. I didn’t know they already scheduled the games out. Good luck to you guys

We didn’t stop the run well last Friday. Portland had a trio of backs that hurt us, including their running QB. Our inexperince showed some on the road in the big game.

Waverly shows flashes of a great team at times. They have a very strong running game. Wide receivers seem to be able to consistently CATCH A BALL, something the receivers could not do against White House a year ago. Both oline and dline are very good, pretty much return all starting linemen from last year. Secondary can be questionable at times. I could see this being a close game if White House can stop the run game. If not then it will be a long night for the blue devils.

I think if we don’t fumble the ball three times again, then we’ll be okay the rest of the year.  Run defense could definitely be better too though.
