JC at USJ...could/should be a great Division II A matchup

I think JCS has to find more ways to get Mosley the ball. He needs more passes thrown his way and he needs more touches with the jet sweep/reverse. Personally, I would also drop him in the backfield as a deep "I" formation tailback and let him run student body left and right all night. You might stop him or slow him early but as the night wears on, Mosley would dominate. That's  just my opinion. The DL for USJ must get some penetration. 

If JCS wants to win, they have to find a way to get over the "USJ Mistique".  Throw out 2 years ago as that was a fluke win. USJ has to be wary of costly penalties. I'd say the over/under on unsportsmanlike penalties is at least 2.5.

Bottom line is that there is more pressure on USJ in my opinion for a variety of reasons. Some I have mentioned, some I have not.

With all that being said, Ric Flair was always at his best when his back was against the wall. I feel something will happen to throw JCS off of their game plan and USJ will be there to take advantage of it. USJ football is on the clock. I think they have this one tonight and they will shout "Woooo" when all is said and done tonight.

Can someone please direct me, to a link where I can get a complete football schedule for each week? Not just an individual school schedule. Preferably broken down into West, middle and East Tennessee. I no longer take our poor excess of a local newspaper and I can't find a complete weekly schedule not even on the TSSAA site. All I find there is individual team schedules.  Thanks!

This site will give you the state wide schedule each week broken down east, West, and middle. It is listed as scoreboard. You will also get region standings and schedules for each team

Coaches are weird about stuff like that? If you’re up three TDs on a team that you know can’t beat you why wouldn’t you mix in a few 2nd stringers on offense? Especially when you play most of the starters both ways. Maybe it’s to pad the stats of that kid at USJ so he could get Mr Football last year? Either way it’s not good coaching. It’s amazing really though how many 200+ yard games by RBs and QBs against bad teams happen when the 2nd stringers could do the same thing.  It is a shame really but what usually happens is God forbid the #1 player can’t play a few series or game the 2’s get their time to shine. However, as coach myself for years I saw things my way and I’m sure I made the same mistake as a few of these guys, not all of them, but a few for sure. Here’s to the #2’s, may they get their chance to play and shine!!!!!
