When I think of Central football I think of most teams JV’s. I will make sure to tell the coach to bring the varsity because I think he was just bringing the JV so it would be more competitive lol

Let's not bicker Meigs is a respected program they are a tough team. I expect it to be a closer. But centrals gotta prove it, seems weird how both school went through several years of beating each other. This isn't gonna be polk 2.0 . Something just doesn't sit right when someone who claims to be a local fan. Starts stirring up bs. I hope for a healthy game between both schools  and I hope central proves me. They beat the teams I m thought they were supposed to so far, now these next 5 games are a step up in talent and won't be as easy to win, besides maybe the Rockwood game they all look to be able to go either way.  Best of luck to the Tigers and  have safe trip from Decatur on friday!

I'm just having fun at their expense. Should be a good game. But I do expect us to pull out a win. 

 

@catchnburn How will you explain getting beat by the team that lost to TKA? That's gotta hurt...

Not even remotely the same Meigs team. No where close! Not the same Central team either. Coach Rech has been shutting teams down on this 4 game win streak. Stop living in the past. It was a great run for Meigs County. If TKA can score 34, then Central can score at least 31. I was being generous with that out of respect for the program. TKA has 54 points total in 5 games. 34 were scored on Meigs County.

Lighten up Francis, lol. It's called having fun. Which, we all used to have on this board when all local teams were in the same region. We are having a good time on our breaks at work. There's mutual respect but I love the banter. I will make a "coach speak" post to make up for it all I guess.

Columbia Blue but go off I guess. Tigertime? Tigertime ran out and the clock hit zero last year. Central streak starts Friday Night

Papa said to tone it down so I will have to just say......

Well, we played well and they just played better. We lost to the better team tonight. We have got to do better and I expect us to get back to work Monday and put this one behind us. We can not let this one affect us moving forward. Good luck to the Tigers, we will see you next season. 

 

However, I guarantee 100% that I WILL NOT have to do that.
