Injuries played a big part but WC had a great game plan. They played keep away with the ball, chewed a ton of clock, and their defense had a few occasions of bend but didn't break.

We have to get some kids healed up for sure. Thank goodness for a bye week. It came at a great time.

It almost came a week to late. Hats off to WC for putting up a good fight. They just kept playing hard nosed football.

That's what I was commenting on early in the thread...regardless of talent from year to year, there's a lot of tradition attached to the program and some tough young men who won't quit.
