I would still be surprised if HVA pulls out a win but it may be better than I’d have thought last week. Interestingly, their freshman team has put together some nice wins. I know it doesn’t always translate like that, but maybe a good sign of brighter days coming!

Don't be so sure of that when William Blount is over here in Blount County saying come here to Moma on Oct. 21st. We won't to break you in right with a mercy rule game and plenty of concessions for half price for your fans to eat on the way back to Knoxville.

If Central snaps directly to Frank Johnson IV all night, Central wins. HV can't load the box to stop him because he can also throw the ball. And it works, SD did it to Central a couple of years ago.

That's exactly how they beat Heritage. Bobcats don't win that one if not for that change.

I'm pretty sure Hardin Valley's defense is better than Heritage's defense.

I wasn't too impressed with Central when they played Gibbs on Packervision. The running back Johnson is pretty good, but they seem sporadic on offense otherwise.  I think Coach Miner comes up with a defense to slow Johnson down and give Hardin Valley a chance to win their first one.  24-17 Hawks.

Central leads 17-14 with 2 min left. Just kicked a short FG to break the tie.
