Tough as they are, I'm actually kinda glad Beech is back. 5A just hasn't been the same without them.

Let us not forget that integrity is not something that the TSSAA would let get in the way.  Just take a look at the tssaa officiating crews.

Graduate a lot. They will still have a good team, but not sure about replacing all these seniors. Pretty deep at the skill positions, but will have a young and inexperienced line. 
 

I think they will make a run in 2 years.

And LC and OR are the furthest two teams west.  So, unless they send LC  down to Chatt region, I don't see our current region changing.   But yeah I would trade LC, Karns and Plow for Halls and Central any day of the week!

Overton is not the John Overton in Nashville, It's in memphis so the middle region wd have 6. Word is that Northwest and Kenwood choosing to move up that wd make the North region 6 teams as well. 7 teams in the south region.

They've won 2 of them, both in 5A afterall

But I dont think they will next year though but will likely win another at some point

and yes 10 years or so from Now Beech will change its name to Busta Rhymes Academy (BRA) and win at least another Gold Ball

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
