Your right about up front, probably the weakest we've had in a while.  It's an area we are going to have to improve on.  The only bright spot is #54 he is just a sophmore and could be a good one.  We are definitely an undersized team.  If we can sure up the line in the coming years we will be alright.  Good luck to the Cherokees the rest of the way.

Who’s the sought after lineman y’all have this year. Is that #54 you referred to?

7-1 and probably will be 9-1. They mauled everyone on their schedule except for Wartburg and Gordonsville and it looks like they are one of the best teams in the state. They probably average in the 40's on offense and probably around 10 points per game on defense. I admit the schedule has been soft but it's 1A football. Just seems like they have all the pieces to be a very good team. Are they weak upfront? I saw the mention of young corners but they haven't been scored on that much other than GHS. I'm just surprised is all.

That comment did come from me, I don't think there is anybody being sought after.  He's probably our best lineman.

Yes sir I know you didn’t say it. I just knew you would know the actual situation at CF. I have a list of people I ask depending on what team I’m looking for info. Like OnB said, you’re the Coalfield guy around here. Appreciate the response, see y’all in a few weeks.

How do you see your team speed compared to recent years? Ours is up but we just can’t pull the pieces together this year.

We got decent overall speed but no burners.  My concerns for this squad is mainly on the line.  Onb hit on that and he's correct.
