Clinton Travels To Beaver Country

Clinton closes out their season at Karns this week. Clinton has a chance to go out on a winning note and finish 6-4.  Karns on the other hand is already in the playoffs and I'm sure wants to repay Clinton for the loss Clinton handed them last year 56-14.

Should be a great game and another shootout!

This will probably be a shootout. Karns D is like a screen door in front of rushing water, it can’t stop sh$&. But I believe Bishop will have close to 300 on the ground for Karns. This could be another 56-49 type game.

Clinton had over 200 yards in penalties last night against Gibbs. Keith went off last night. He was 20-23 passing with 400+ yards passing 4tds and 3 rushing tds.

I have a feeling he'll put up similar numbers against Karns.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Their run D is so awful, that we didn’t ever really have to resort to a major aerial attack, or even a conservative one, and still scored 56. It was so bad I don’t even know how good their pass defense is.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
