Btw, York, for both girls and boys, is a tough first opponent.

The boys roll,  94-52.  Like the writeup said, we played the whole bench significant minutes.  Honestly, I like the upside of this team even better than last year's team.  They are better defensively and are much faster.  A fun bunch to watch.

Yes they're fun to watch, and as usual they ran the legs off their opponents. The York starters were worn down by the first half. Think that's what happened to our girls though, I think after leading the whole game in the 4th they wilted and lost. But they were all freshmen or sophomores except for 2 players.

For the girls, it was wasted opportunities.  We had waaayy too many unforced turnovers and 1 on 5 ball going on.  York was just as gassed in the 3rd, but found a way to dig deeper.  We should be fine, but we need to play team basketball on offense and find a way to score more consistently.  York is a quality team that has a lot of mental toughness. BTW, their #1 is also a sophomore.  CAK on Monday will be another big test for the girls.

I was there.  It WAS fun to watch.  My tougher team today in Cocke County.  First good test for our guys.

Hammons really impressed me last night.
