Sounds like the Umpire needs to either get thicker skin or quit umpiring if  comments like "We know you’re large and in charge" or "‘Dixie Youth is looking for umpires" gets you tossed from a game.  I could see if he was getting cussed at or threatened with violence but not for those comments that he stated he threw them out for.

Catcher should have been ejected unless every team is going to get the same treatment to avoid 2 game suspension...

I tale you what, this right here makes me real glad I moved out of Robertson Co. This is an embarrassment to the hole county.

That's impossible to answer without more information, but it's more in line with the rules of the game than to tell the coach to replace him in the lineup and let that progress to ejecting the entire crowd...especially for some of the relatively low key insults that he took offense to. Sounds to me like the ump was very unprofessional and more "in his feelings" than administering the rules of the game. Just for the record, the article stated that the ump was having trouble with the catcher...if that's true, just deal with the catcher directly and end the problem unless you think that the actual rules wouldn't support your interpretation of them.

It’s all good now. TSSAA released the umpire form his duties. That should explain it all.

The umpire in question is a good umpire and a good person.   Maybe he was having a bad day.  People are so quick to judge.

Leave it to the news media and social media to tear someone down.  

He's also a college umpire and has always done a good job.

Well from the article it doesn't sound like he was a good umpire at all that day.  He was the one that did an interview with the paper and told them "We know you’re large and in charge" or "‘Dixie Youth is looking for umpires" will get you thrown out of a game if he is umpiring. (Horrible look to be so thin skinned you would throw someone out for that, especially if he is such a good umpire like your saying).  Don't try to blame people responses on what he told the media because he didn't have to do that interview with the paper, so blame it on him for being so thin skinned.
