Chittum Leaving Iowa

I wonder how long this will last.

I think ISU will stick. From what i've seen he left after an altercation with Ferrari.

ISU is a better fit for him anyways. Vionavich just transfered in at Iowa, then there's Woods and Siebrecht as well. He'd struggle to find a starting spot.

At ISU hes got Johnson below him, Carr above him and Metcalf coaching.

The meltdown in the Iowa Hawkeye wrestling forums will be monumental lol.

They are, ive been following those and the intermat forums today. Immediately after Flo announced Cody's switch they began talking about a new coaching staff to replace TNT.

I was reading if Chittum could get in the line-up he will be a national qualifier and maybe an AA. This was a good move for him. He’s able to get on the mat and really have a shot at a starting spot.

Agreed, the rest of the wrestling world hates it, but I think the move is great.

Potential Ferrari vs Cody for all the marbles in their respective arenas.  Think on those fireworks.  Boom.... as the boom ranch would say.

Personally, i think the more likely scenario is Ferrari redshirts and we see Chittum vs Cobe Siebrecht

Come on, grow up, support our TN alum.

Hes the best shot we have, as a state, at getting another NCAA champ.

Like I said. I’ll wait until next week to see where he commits to next. Then I might have to wait until the next week after that too.

Too much bouncing around for my liking.

    • You’ll never make me believe Upperman would not play Cookeville. The only competitive game would be the girls game. UHS boys would dominate in football and basketball. Then you’d see an exodus, especially on the football side to Upperman.
    • We knew going in we were the underdogs. PC had more athleticism and more speed across the board but these kids are gritty and we are not without talent. So it was a four quarter fight. By the way I’ve watched the replay of the 2 point conversion and it was good. But on the field it was called no good and the rest is history. No crying about it. The best team won. End of story.
    • So you’re saying our kids faked it but yours didn’t?  Now that’s a class act right there bro. You definitely repping now ain’t ya?  We have one with a broken arm/collarbone but I guess that’s a fake injury. I’ve kept quiet about some things that happened because it’s all a part of the game but do not say another word about our young men out there on the field and I’ll give you and yours the same courtesy.
    • Example of refs dong too "good" of a job: 2023 AAA girls tournament semi final between South Side and Elizabethton. Double overtime game = 48 minutes played. Number of fouls called, you guessed it...48.   So to all refs of clear conscience, please don't be those refs. Let the kids play some...please. #HereComesTheCloser
