Not sure I know a lot of their starters went to Highschool.

How is the Union City varsity looking in scrimmages so far? 
 

I would say that Covington’s offense is ready to start the season now. They have looked sharp. The Charger defense is not as dominant as it was last year, say, based on scrimmages I’ve seen so far. Now it could get there if it continues to improve.

Looking forward to a great game much respect to Covington. Hope for a good injury free jamboree.

I started this thread with the schedule from last year’s match-up in Covington. I was told it was the same format this year.  Can somebody confirm that the 2023 version starts at 6 PM? 
 

it’s over a 1-1/2 hour drive for me, so I don’t want to miss any of the action.

Thanks. I just wanted to be certain. 
 

I haven’t seen Crestview Middle play this year, but understand they played Haywood in a jamboree earlier this week and lost 8-6. If Haywood is up to their usual standard, then Crestview might be fairly good. We will see tomorrow nite, I guess.
