ER does a good job of getting their players recruited. Can’t knock a staff for continuing kids athletic and academic careers.

Hiring atlee pond set the program back years. But I agree with you… should have had a gold ball in the trophy case by now with the talent in this area. Hopefully we will soon.

Cheatham and Montgomery were both battling injuries through the post season, cheatham had a really bad ankle sprain he was dealing with and Montgomery had a torn rotator cuff or labrum can’t remember which one it was but I know they both played through them.

Maybe my guy is sand bagging on them then. They lost the house last year so if they are better than Marion then it won’t be because of Marion lacking the talent. Might shape up to be a big time game in 2A. I’m just keeping it real

I’m probably being too hard on them…was missing LG and LT and replaced them with freshman, but still didn’t dominate the way I thought they should.

If they still beat Gordonsville with their losses and the new guys missing then that’s a pretty solid indicator of little drop off for ER.

Bigster LC looked good on offense and looked good up the middle on defense just had a couple mistakes on the outside on defense but the kids are young and will get better with reps

How did West Carroll look.Did LC pretty much have their way?Figured West Carroll would give them a battle with just having stop the run since LC QB can't throw according to Sunny in Atwood.Plus LC losing maybe or one of fastest receiver to Trenton.

defense looked solid missing the starting NG. He was an all mid state kid last year. Just hoping we stay healthy and keep adding to the win column from here on to December. Good luck to your Marion Co Warriors…till playoff time.

They lost a lot and might not be as dominant but they’re definitely not having a down year. they can compete with anyone in 2a
