I keep hoping this will be the Jets year. Not sure the last time I saw them beat Stone, if ever. Any chance they hang with the panthers? Jets defense is much improved and Panthers have been letting all opponents move the ball on them... closer than the experts think?

Seems to be thriving on one side. We can hope in one hand and crap in the other... lol.

Stone has an actual QB now from what I've seen. This game will be over quick. Wish I could have more confidence. We did play competitive games with Scott and Bledsoe and hope to be competitive with Pickett and Sequoya. We might need to look into going independent like White county did till we build back.

How did Bledsoe compare to Scott? I know the scores were both close but I'm curious on your thoughts between the 2 teams.

Nicer and newer school all the kids and athletes would rather go to

Most around here would rather their kids went to cchs. Athletic culture is just awful there though.

Stone was not afraid to hire from outside the county and built a better athletic culture over there.

I think the head foitball coach at CC is solid. I don't know much about the rest of his staff.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
