Booger thinkin MM76 is absolutely spot on......specially now that it appears them Presbyterians have lost QB 1&2...

like CPA...FRA is incredibly well coached...though not large as a group, them panthers can ball it...that little QB is hard to corral and tosses it pretty darned good..

...FRA's AD made a fantastic hire in Geisinger....when you can turn PJPII and collect around to 8 Win seasons...safe to say you can coach

....you have the same jimmys and joes as last season and LA more likely challenges for a D2AAA Class Gold Ball......and no doubt takes another Gold Ball away from CPA in D2AA..

..if LA had not moved up to the big boy class...takin another D2AA gold ball away from CPA was probably a guarantee this year and next.....but LA is now in D2AAA and it ant no D2AA 

that last season LA team...which was one of the best HS teams Booger personally ever saw...beats this years team 2 TD's...Dilfer at LA was a one off...and another Dilfer ant comin

I agree with Booger , I don't think any team in state would have done any better. The move up Div II AAA is best for program long term. Scheduling IMG your first game first high school job probably not great call.  Baylor, McCallie and LA still best teams in Div II AAA. LA gets new QB settled I believe they get to Chattanooga. Like Booger stated had they remained AA they would run away with gold ball again. Like Coach Dilfer or not he elevated LA and TN football. I can't imagine the up roar over QB leaving had it been Coach Dilfer in charge.

If LA did have kids that wanted to leave before year started they should have told them good luck , most time ends up being a cancer within locker room if they stay.  A lot of programs had kids leave this year and next man up usually works out . Kids usually will unit behind it . Oakland lost one of its best players to BA and they appear to be playing very well. FCS same situation.

No doubt Coach Geisinger can coach - and attract talent. Prior to Geis, Pope averaged 3 wins (all non-region) a season to 8 win seasons and the occasional playoff win.  Since Geis left, we are returning to 3 wins seasons (against inferior opponents) and many running clocks. I am now home by 8:30 most Fridays

FRA is all in. Several ex NFL guys on the board of directors. They have brought in a bunch of new freshman this year. They beat CPA last year. With BGA going into the tank, they are the only challenger to CPA. 
D2AA is not very good this year.

CPA, FRA, Lausanne and maybe Knox Webb. That’s about it. Maybe Chatt Christian and Davidson can be competitive. BGA, ECS, Pope are all way down.
