antioch (3-4) at CPA (6-1) - fun non region match up.  CPA takes this one.

fri night

knox catholic (4-2) at BA (1-6) - BA has to get another win.

LA (2-4) at MBA (2-5) - i keep thinking LA is getting back on track but now im not sure.  toss up.

BGA (3-4) at FRA (7-0) - FRA is rolling to CPA I think.

columbia academy (4-3) at NC (3-3) - nashville christian seems to be on a roll.

ensworth (5-2) at father ryan (3-3) - toss up

 

not the most interesting week so far.  any others?

The winner of the Columbia Academy at Nasville Christian game, barring upsets, will win the D2A middle region championship in my opinion.  This is a huge game with ultra serious playoff implications on the line. This contest deserves an SRO crowd. It is definitely the GOTW in D2A and a very big game otherwise.

Reitz - spot on. This is gonna be a big game. I am struggling to pick, but my gut says it's CA's time to shine. Both are solid teams who have played brutal schedules. I think CAs running game ends up being the difference here.

I am still getting used to D2-AA as Pope dropped a class this year. I watched FRA - DA last Friday and 2 talented and well coached teams. Both should make some noise come playoff time. We sure miss Coach Geisinger in Hendersonville.

No struggle here, since Curtis is back at NCS as  QB they beat CA by 10+. CA cannot defend the pass against NCS.

CA takes the season match up. NCS has got some issues. Maybe they can get them fixed by playoffs. CAs running game is too much for them. They will control the clock and not give that offense many possessions.

This is a huge game, as the winner of this game probably wins the DII-A Middle Region. Nashville Christian by 7. Curtis and Nashville Christian's passing offense will outdo Columbia Academy's run game, and Nashville Christian will win a close one, in my opinion.

I think Columbia Academy is focused while there may still be some distractions for NCS. JMO

agreed, when qb is visiting other schools it can be a distraction. CA by 3
