Can Trousdale beat Monterey or westmoreland to keep the playoff streak alive? I think that’s the key question for the jackets. Workhorse cole Gregory May have broken his thumb against ER. If so I suspect he tries to put a cast and heavy wrap on it and keep playing but likely won’t be able to play qb even though it’s not on his throwing hand. Both Monterey and westmoreland have had their ups and downs this season but both seem like they will be tough outs for the jackets.  And if cole g is completely out … steak not looking good.  Can B Satt muster that one win he needs for the playoffs like last year at Watertown??  Need to get Calhoun more involved. He’s been relatively quiet since they moved Gregory to qb and use him mainly as a wide receiver.

Don’t think so. Think the series is 20-0 including the infamous 91-0 game in 1997. East Robertson had never beaten Trousdale until last year. Jackets setting all kinds of records in futility these days, shows how strong the program was and how far it’s fallen. Gordonsville won on the creek bank this year for first time since 1987. Macon back to back wins in consecutive years for first time since 1959-61.

The closest game I could find was TC 35 Monterey 19 in 2006.

Looks as if Monterey will never beat Trousdale. I expected this game to be close but Jackets are dominating. How did Monterey blow out Westmoreland?
