Dawson and Franklin are the 2 best players in single A and are in the same region yes.  Franklin has division 1 offers and a PWO to a SEC school. 
 

Franklin is averaging almost 14 YPC, 14!!

Dawson is averaging a little over 12 YPC and has passing yards.
 

Both are super good. Probably couldn’t go wrong with either choice on MR football but it has to be one of these 2 to win the award.

there is no comparison, White hasn't been held in check all year by any team, Franklin was a non-factor against Collinwood.  The coaching staff does a real good job of padding his stats once games are out of hand

He would have more than 130 carries if the coaches were trying to “pad his stats” 

 

also he hasn’t played in the 4th qtr in 3 or 4 of the games.

Dawson hasn't been contained by any team they have face

you take away the 1 long run Franklin had against MC and he has 67 yards on 13 carries

Franklin is good but not Mr. Football good

Okay nobody said I was against White winning it? I vouched for him. 
 

But Ben is Mr football good. The kid has better stats than anyone else across the board.

Franklin is 3rd in total yards, 2nd in rushing by 300 yards and has played 1 more game than the leading rusher

He leads in TD's and yards per carry and he only leads that by 1.24 yards per carry to a QB

so you are off in his stats are better across the board

White is a very good player. Reminds me of the Tucker kid a few years ago at Perry. Franklin is also a very good player. Best player with size to ever play at Cornersville. White should win based on his teams performance. If Franklin was born a few years earlier then he could possibly have been awarded. Not taking anything from either player because they are both very talented and hope they both have very successful careers beyond high school.

Yes who else has those kind of stats on that many carries. And if you want to go the 10-0 route we had 2 of the best players in 2018 , scoring like 40 a game and giving up 3 a game. Nobody stopped Eli Woodard or Cam Whitaker all year.  Did they win Mr. football? No

That's what he do! pounds it until he breaks the big one and sometimes more than 1! 

 

To say the coaches are stat padding is such a far reaching statement its comical. Averaging 16.25 touches per game.  They are going all out with that stat padding! The only game that was "out of hand" was the Richland game. But with the rivalry and redemption needed from last year, I was all for letting them run it up and make a point. Not to mention the "overrated" chants directed at him. 

Let them play and let the cards fall where they may! Both are great and an argument can be made either way. The QB with the great stats and better record will likely get it, but that does not mean Ben is not just as deserving. I can assure you nobody is only hoping to win Mr. Football as their personal or team goal for either side! 

 

Anyway, we are focused on Huntland and not Moore County or Dawson.

ah yes, the rushing leader with 9.78 yards per carry in 194 attempts getting an average of 27.71 touches per game. is 0 touchdowns accurate?
