I’m guessing it is safe to say two completely different teams. The one thing that sticks out and, we will fully know after Friday night, is if R5 is really that good.?.?.? Loretto, Hohenwald, Waverly and MTP all had very good years. I haven’t been keeping up with that region a very long time but, it’s usually a one horse region.

However, seems that R6 fields dominate teams year after year.

According to the bracket, who ever wins this game will most likely have to face Huntington again. So, will the game tomorrow night go down to who wants it the most or.............................................................. who doesn't (really) want it the (least)?

In my opinion Milan has the best looking athletes Huntingdon has faced. Riverside is the best team all around team Huntingdon has faced. It seems like Milan offense is more predictable. When they go into the wildcat look, I dont remember them throwing the ball. I’ve said it before, it seems like the last few years they have kids in the wrong positions. Maybe they have changed things up since earlier in the season. They have the look and skill to be scary.

You aren’t kidding the look is definitely there and the speed they have is impressive.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
