Smith co took a page out of the Trousdale county playbook on keeping your enrollment numbers where they need to be!

Sumner County is open enrollment. Also my understanding is that Westmoreland has had homeschool kids playing on their athletic teams the last few years.

To my knowledge,  and that’s pretty good as far as what goes on with westmoreland athletics, is that we have had 1 homeschool kid in the last 10 years play a sport. It was men’s basketball. His name was Henry Hinton.  I was told y’all had maybe 4 this season on that team. I could be told wrong though but from a pretty good source

Smith should be the overwhelming favorite to win state in 2A this year. Anything less would have to be a disappointment.
