It came down to playing in the trenches… bearden came out all hyped up with that 1st qtr energy which hey I’ll say they played dang good but it came down to the trenches and their momentum died tremendously when they got in the trenches. Bradley ruffed through and pushed the whole game.… now that Martin is out.., looks like Bradley’s JV quarterback will be playing the monsters Oakland. Bradley will have their hands full without martin… he was the key player… we will see if cook can live up to that position. Great game though bearden came to play ball!!!

Great season for the Bulldogs after Bradley Central graduates. There’s nobody that can go toe to toe with a Bearden anymore in the district, especially since their very young team is getting more experience with each game. And only in year 2 with Josh Jones might be one of the best rags-to-riches stories in the state if things keep going like this.
