Yes some call in that game was needed. I should’ve mentioned in general throughout the season, and not just in the Greene games. Things have changed in the game, but not all bad.

Lord, If I had to correct as many people that have misspelled my name, I would have given up a long time ago and made a lot of enemies by correcting them. I don't think that was my point.

"Greeneville IMO's nut shell'

#12 up middle and bounce to outside, Read-Options for #12, #10QB and #4.

#4 the edge sweeps. Quick pass out of backfield to #44  (beat us last year for TD) especially when in red zone. Big #33 Middle smash mouth and off tackle run. Really Quick pass TE slant across in redzone ( got us last year,) Bubble screens. Give to #12 Delayed backfield shoots to the  outside. Quick drop deep lob pass. And of course the unknown what they have saved for a quarter round playoff. 

Weakness For Greeneville, punter slow release and penalties.

GO MAVS!

OL has to muscle up. Moog will be Moog not much you can say there. Zae needs to step it up and get Revenge on Greeneville. The D is playing great just need to memorize film and do what they do best. Need to finish every play as #12 Quellen is low to the ground hard to tackle. Defence wins championships,! 

Mavs OL and DL will win the game Friday. 

Suck it up! Big Night for LaRue, Cole Small James Pyatt Cody Miller, Strcikland Brummett Eli Nelson Wolffenbager Bradshaw Campbell Valero and Radcliff.

Mavs let's keep Ella Busy all night!

The Mavs have scheduled a strong non region schedule with strong teams that are in higher classifications. Most of those teams are still playing in the playoffs. Greenville has played some higher classification competition in their non region as well but not to the same level as AC

For many years AC was ridiculed for playing soft competition from the Chatt area and then getting beat by either Greeneville or Betsy. This narrative has changed for sure. They won state last year for the first time ever in their history. The region they are in now is not great, but they are at least saving gas money.

They had some issues internally the offseason before 2022 and lost what would be their starting QB and one starting WR this season in 2023. Those players are now starting at OR. AC went out and got good replacements from Jeff Co for those two spots.

I say all that to say, AC cares more about football than any other program in the county. It means more to them and the community. They have changed the culture and gotten the community to support them as well as admin. Greeneville is a great program as many of you reading this know. I think AC finds a way to win this game. It will be a tough one for sure, but that tough schedule prepared them for this game and the last week with Betsy.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
