The state championship for 6A was last week at Bradley, Saturday Night is just a post season bowl game for Oakland.

both of those games were toss ups for me. they’re extremely close and could go either way

Had they kept pushing they could have won that game… Kaleb threw that ball to the sidelines and fumbled and was just not keeping it together.. heck… bearden would have beat us in the 4th…. We weren’t playing worth a crap. 

If your team quit, that is pathetic and unacceptable.  To use "my team quit" as an excuse for getting demolished 38-17 just shows that this dude is delusional.  "You didn't beat us, we gave to you because we are a bunch of pathetic quitters"  BC Coach would say that is total BS.  He tipped his cap to Oakland and gave credit where it was due.  I mean dude?  Get outta here with that.  ridiculous.

Are we still going on about this? Lol I’ve moved on…. Go congratulate Houston then go serve the community or do something nice for someone. Geeeeeeez lol

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
