I think so too. I think if he got the job he'd stay for the long haul. He's a local that from what I heard loves the community

there are 2 names that were and still are ahead of Ben Carter as the successor of Swenson when that time comes. One of those being carter's brother in-law. Not saying he wouldn't do well as the successor..

Whoever gets the job will have some opportunities to compete year end and year out. The sophomore class has some talent and the middle school has some good athletes coming thru. If the right coach comes thru he can build a winning program.

Awfully quiet over there in Dresden, but I did hear David Barker interviewed for this job. Not sure who the front runner is but I'd think he'd be towards the top of the pack.

also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county

Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things...

Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
