 Borders boys have lived in Macon County since birth. Much of Western Macon County has a Westmoreland postal address.

Yep since Elementary School for myself and older brother.  Both my parents attended County Schools and made the decision to send their kids to the City School if they had any.  They had no clue if we would be athletes and did it for academic reason with the resources the City School system had.  
 

I appreciate that coach and know you didn’t care how good of an athlete you were if you weren’t a good student and citizen.

That still didn’t answer my  question….what school are they zoned for by their address?  I lived in Greene County since birth also but went to a school I wasn’t zoned for and was a tuition student

I apologize for assuming you had some knowledge of Macon County and the surrounding area, which being from Greene County, you would not. Macon County is zoned for Macon County High. Students in Macon County are zoned either for Macon County High or Red Boiling Springs. If they have a Westmoreland address that means that Macon High is some 10 miles closer to than Red Boiling Springs.

You are losing me a little here. Maybe you don’t know Westmoreland is in Sumner County? You can’t live in Macon County and be zoned in another county.

They live in Macon Co. and attended Westside Elementary School thru the 5th grade.Westside school is in Macon Co..

In my eyes probably the most hardest working summers PC has had even down to the player only workouts in the heat. 7on7 looking good. 4-0 in KY at the moment. The young boys are ready!

Thanks for the clarification.  It made it sound like Westmoreland was technically in both Macon and Sumner Counties with some of Macon County has a Westmoreland address from a previous poster.  Sounds like the Border Twins are not out of Zone then and don’t have to pay tuition like I did, that’s all I was asking
