Macon County 2024

Recommended Posts

I wouldn’t put too much stock in a scrimmage. Successful coaches scrimmage to evaluate individual players, defensive alignments, and often don’t pressure in order to test their pass d. East and Macon both will be near the top of their respective divisions.

You serious Clark?

Is it really that wild of a Prediction?

Macon lost to Putman twice, beat Smith in OT where the Owls missed a FG to win, beat Stone on a botched PAT that became a 2 point play, beat White by a TD.

All of those games except the playoff game at Putman were home games also.

UHS and WC are both significantly better than ER. Nothing against ER, maybe the best 2a school in 2024, just how it is. Big diffrene in top tier 2a abd 4a programs as far as depth.

Upperman would be favored vs ER but East would definitely be the favorite vs WC…I’d say ER wins by double digits.

I don't think so. WC had chances to beat both Macon and UHS both being on the road. 3-4 scores away from being 8-2 or 9-1. Has Pinion and 20 seniors. Around 70 players with lots of depth. That's very hard to contend with in 2a.

White Co doesn’t have the horses like ER does. ER also has an Oline that I would have to say averaged 260lbs at the least. Very big team.
