AllAboutOMT
OS91, I am aware that Scott County's coach clapped at our favorite OS point guard the several times she checked out of that game. I wouldn't expect Coach to invite her out for a cup of coffee after the game following a classy display like that. TheAnswer9
Yes, there was a short exchange of words between the coaches at midcourt while the teams were shaking hands and I don't believe it was for the coaches to tell each other good game--get my drift!! I know both coaches really well and will leave it at that--I'm not going there either way!! OS91, if you want to email me at MStiltner@acs.ac, I'll gladly email you back the main gist of the conversation my friend.
OS91
I havent seen or heard of Coach Wright being in too many altercations/words with opposing coaches or fans, so I would think this was a one time deal and from what it sounds like, the heated exchanges was provoked. I dont think OS coach should be labeled something he isnt. Coach W has done an amazing job in scheduling and building one of the better programs in the state, so one altercation ( whether it was warranted or provoked should not lable him accordingly as Chicago suggested) is hardly anything to be alarmed about. Furthermore, OS doesn't have a history of running up scores and always display sportsmanship on the highest level.
BBALLTN
Coach Wright played everyone he had,and sometimes for your other girls to get the experince they need they need to play with an experienced point guard,if you would have noticed Hall wasnt trying to score when she was in the game late she was just trying to direct the younger players. That is just good sense for the Coach to try and make is younger players better. But no Coach should ever try to intimadate a young HS player bye mocking and clapping when she is taken out of a game shows no class.Scott County and OS both have quality teams lets just let the girls play, and I think both Coaches are doing good jobs just got a little emotional I bet both haven forgotten it bye now. iamoz
Wareagle, the game is Tuesday night at Oliver Springs. Chicago, I was really just kidding when I said that, hence the smily face. I was just wondering if you really meant what you wrote earlier in the thread, that's all. I will assume you didn't.
