Based on the schedules and competition from Coacht:

1. Harriman (Won over Moore Co.)

2. Cloudland (Lost to a Tough Boone AA Team, Won over Unicoi AA)

3. Clarkrange (Very tough schedule lately)

4. Celina (13-0 record is not the reason, The win over clarkrange)

5. Unaka (Several AA wins, Plays a tough schedule)

6. Moore County (Showing 3 tough loses)

7. Franklin Road Academy (Played Moore Co. close)

8. Cosby (Lost to 3 good teams, plays tough schedule)

9. ??

10. ???

Based on teams playing 10 or more games to date.

The last 2 could go to anyone, I have a hard time ranking a team who loses to average teams and kills poor teams.

Just one opinion, not to be considered the AP or TSSAA Ranking.

:)

The last three years, Celina's girls(now seniors) have helped our team be in State three consecutive years. Record's may not speak for true talent, because our girls were NOT defeated last year, yet they received the State Runner-Up. I truly think it's Celina's year. We've earned it. I have not seen the other teams play except who we have played, but I wish the best of luck to all teams. Lady Dawgs, you know what time it is. :)

Can anyone Explain this statement: CHSdog Says

"Record's may not speak for true talent, because our girls were NOT defeated last year, yet they received the State Runner-Up."

Sounds to me like the wrong team won the State last year, cause this team was undefeated and only finished Runner-Up. Talk about a tough division.

Go Celina Dogs you've been cheated!! :)

i think it is kinda funny how some of these Celina ball players get on here and talk about themselves so much. i was there at the State Finals, i think Ezell Harding won it pretty easy, it wasn't even close at the end. but celina does have a pretty good team from what i hear haven't got to see them play yet. but it sounds like they haven't got that tough as a schedule as i thought they should have. but i guess some teams just want that ??-0 record.

They usually don't talk about the semi-final game against FRA where they won at the last second despite FRA having one of their worst games of the year. Something like 0-14 on 3's, 50% from the line, and 30% from the field, and only lost by 1 I think. Really shows who the better team was.

even close to being anything that resembles a top 10 poll.

Harriman is nowhere close to being the #1 team in state. They loss to an average AA team in Kingston and lost to Oliver Springs by 40.

Celina should be Number one.

Clarkrange number 2

and then go from there

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
